Plan support, operations and handoff before launch
Assign service windows, response, monitoring, recovery, change ownership and an exit path.
Define the operating promise
- State the service window, contact route and response target in plain language.
- Do not imply continuous monitoring or uptime unless it is actually included and measured.
Design recovery
- Name backup scope, retention, restore test and the owner who decides recovery priority.
- Keep configuration, credentials and customer data in appropriate separate controls.
Leave an exit path
- Document exports, source ownership, dependencies and the transition process.
- A handoff should allow operation or migration without relying on undocumented knowledge.
Keep the result reusable
The engagement studio carries the same workflow identity into six reviewable artifacts. It does not send a request, select a vendor, create a contract or approve a purchase.
