A commerce-neutral catalog, not a universal Shopify import. Price uses a plain nonnegative decimal with up to two places; currency uses a supported uppercase code. Unit names normalize through a fixed dictionary without converting quantities. GTIN is optional; supplied codes must pass their check digit.
